It splits into four even, generous sections. Second picture is of a quarter being used in a pulled wool pad. This dyed black is user friendly, lacking any felted spots common in dyed wool.
This is available per lb. It takes about 6-7lbs of this wool to make a 32 × 32” pulled wool pad that is 2-2.5” thick.
