*** I had bought 30lbs of this with the intent of offering it for pulled wool saddle pads, but it is not as maker friendly as I would like, having some slightly felted lumps in it from the dyeing process. ***
It is the same diameter as all other roving I offer and will split into four quarters, but can be difficult to split evenly with the slightly felted lumps. Would be great for needle felting and other applications.
Can definitely be used for pulled wool pads but just know it won’t play as nice as my other wool.
This is available per lb. It takes about 7-8lbs to make a 32 × 32” pulled wool pad that is 2-2.5” thick. If you need a large amount (10lb or more) reach out to me via email and I can get you set up.
